The lecture series on ‘Industry-Academia Linkage Development’ has been launched yesterday (19 November 2019) at State University of Bangladesh (SUB) with M. Anis Ud Dowla, Chairman, ACI Group as the Key Speaker.
Mr. Anis Ud Dowla mentioned in his speech that the industry and business sectors of the country are expanding gradually and hence the demand for skilled manpower is also increasing day by day. But the question is how much the University and other educational institutes are able to meet that demand of skilled manpower. So, we should try to integrate and accommodate the real needs of the industry in our teaching activities. He added that universities should adjust their curriculum in line with industry needs.
