News on ‘Population Health Management based on American Perspectives, Best Practices and Public Health Implications’

On Friday, January 10, 2020 a seminar on ‘Population Health Management based on American Perspectives, Best Practices and Public Health Implications’ was organized by the Department of Public Health, State University of Bangladesh (SUB). Dr. Emran Rouf, Medical Director, Seton Health Plan, Ascension Texas, United States facilitated the seminar. Prof. Dr. Nawzia Yasmin, Head of Department of Public Health, (SUB) inaugurated the seminar. In his presentation, he emphasized on understanding the cases on population health management from United States and the basic principles of health management in United States. He also illustrated the possibilities of implementing population-based intervention through acquiring knowledge from United States. Participants from public health professions, students and faculties from Department of Public Health, SUB attended the seminar. The interactive discussion among all the participants was followed by celebration of the successful 17 years anniversary of Department of Public Health, State University of Bangladesh by cake cutting and photo session.
