Taslima Akhter completed MA in ELT & Applied Linguistics in 2008, and BA (Hons) in 2007 from the Department of English, University of Dhaka.
She joined the Department of English Studies, State University of Bangladesh (SUB) in 2010, and has been teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels since then.
She has one research paper, as the second author.
Her diversified areas are like, English Language Teaching (ELT), Introduction to Linguistics, Sociolinguistics, Advanced reading and writing& listening and speaking skills English for professional purposes, Modern Methods of Teaching English, Classroom Management, History of Europe, Material Design & Development.
She completed the training as a “Master Trainer” under the TELSHEB program, organized by British Council & UGC conducted by the faculties of Canterbury Christ Church University, UK.
