Dr. Sajid Bin Doza born in Rajshahi. The historic monuments of northern part of Bengal have been a great inspiration for his sketching works, since that not only made him wish to be an architect, but helped him to create the artistic works in painting, cartooning and clay modeling, that have won him several awards at home and abroad. Within the framework of his studies and researches, Dr. Sajid organized eight solo exhibitions at home and abroad showing his sketches and drawings on the cultural heritage of Bangladesh. Followed by the exhibition he published several books on the cultural heritages of the country. Hecompleted his Bachelor of Architecture (B.ARCH) form Architecture Discipline of University of Khulna in 1999 and obtained his Master of Architecture (M.ARCH) degree from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2008. Afterward in 2009-2010, received the grant from Swedish International Development Authority (SIDA) for International Advance Training programme and Post Graduate Diploma on Shelter Design and Development conducted by the LUND University Sweden. Further he achieved European Union scholarship and accomplished his PhD in History of Art at the University of Évora, Portugal, in 2016. Since 2009, he was the faculty member of the department of architecture at the BRAC University of Bangladesh and He was an Associate Professor of Art and Architecture in the same department. In the last ten years Dr. Sajid organizes architectural heritage tour at Northern part of Bangladesh for enthuse students and learners. Here and now Dr. Sajid is the Head of the Department of Architecture in the State University of Bangladesh.
