The following journals/research databases can be accessed within SUB network only. The users who are interested to use HINARI & AGORA are requested to collect log in information from Librarian.

| Collection |
Collection in the SUB library is being done according to its curriculum and services. The library resources include books, Periodicals, Thesis works, Audio-Cassettes, CD-ROMs etc. At present the Library is enriched by 11000 books, 350 CDs, a lot of audiocassettes, and 12 National Daily Newspaper. Apart this library subscribes various electronic journals from the world acclaimed online publishers. |

| Membership |
All students, faculty members and officers are entitled to become members of the Library. The membership is created by the library administration while on admission of a student at SUB and validity of the student membership depends on the registration of courses in each semester.

| Membership Facilities |
- Information Services to Clients: We are committed to retrieve all sorts of information for our users on the basis of their demands.
- Reading Room Services: SUB Central Library provides 120 seats for their users. The reading room is fully air-conditioned.
- Photocopy Service: Only Faculty members are entitled to have photocopy service from the library.
- Computerized Catalogue: SUB library system is fully automated. The Library maintains a computer catalogue using Microsoft SQL Server and Visual Basic.
- The searching option and user status are also available on that.
- Lending System: The circulation system is fully automated. Both the ID cards of Students and books are coded with a barcode technique.

| General discipline and Borrowing rules for Students |
- Students who have the valid ID cards are eligible to receive the library materials.
- The students can borrow two books for 7 days at a time. Students of certificate and diploma courses are not eligible to borrow any types of resources from library; they may use the resources within the Library.
- Failure to return items in time will invoke overdue procedure. In that case fine will be charged @Tk. 5/each day.
- Overdue fine should be calculated from the date mentioned on the due slip of the material.
- Page missing and torn books will not be accepted to return to the library. In that case current price will be charged for each book.
- Students are not allowed to take away books marked with ‘R’ for home.
- Writing or marking on the books is forbidden. Any sort of mutilation will cause of replacement.
- The replacement of lost item should be current price of the lost item.
- Personal possessions will not be allowed in the Library except the exercise books, geometry box, calculator, pen and pencil.
- The library is a place for study. Therefore, silence is required throughout the library.
- The user should turn-off their own mobile phone before entering the library premises.
- Users who disturb normal library environment should modify their behavior.
