Seminar on "Marketing of Fast Moving Consumer Goods in Bangladesh"

Department of Business Studies of State University of Bangladesh (SUB) organized a seminar on "Marketing of Fast Moving Consumer Goods in Bangladesh" at the Seminar room of SUB at 12:00pm on 22 November 2011. The program was chaired by Dr Nazrul Islam, Professor & Dean, School of Business & Social Studies of SUB. Prof. Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed, Advisor, Department of Business Studies of SUB also spoke on the seminar. The seminar was conducted by Mr. G. M. Kamrul Hasan, Head of Marketing, New Zealand Dairy Products Bangladesh Ltd. as a resource person.

In his speech, Mr. G. M. Kamrul Hasan emphasized on the marketing of the fast moving consumer goods in Bangladesh especially the strategy of differentiation and positioning of brand to create competitive advantages of dairy products. He also focused on the consumers rational attitude and its impact on buying decision and ultimately the customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention for modern marketing endeavor.

The seminar was coordinated by Ms. Nipa Saha, Senior Lecturer, Department of Business Studies of SUB. Faculty members and the Students of the Department of Business Studies attended the seminar and participated in open discussion at the seminar.
