Pitha Festival 2011 at State University of Bangladesh

State University of Bangladesh (SUB) organized a daylong "Pitha Festival 2011" on January 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in SUB Cafeteria, 77 Satmasjid Road, Dhanmondi, Dhaka.

The Festival was participated by students of various Departments, setting good many stalls displaying delicious and varieties type of Bangladeshi Pitha. The prizes were distributed by a Panel of Judges to the winners of Departments of Food Science & Technology, Architecture and Law.

Prof. A.A.K.M. Lutfuzzaman, Dean, School of Science & Technology and Vice Chancellor (Acting) of SUB inaugurated the program as Chief Guest.

Eminent food connoisseur & Columnist, Author Ms. Sitara Ferdows graced the occasion as Special Guest.

Major Gen (Retd.) M Shahjahan, Advisor, School of Health Sciences and Prof. A Y M Ekram-ud-Daulah, Registrar, SUB also spoke on the occasion.
