ORIENTATION AND FRESHERS’ RECEPTION FOR SPRING 2009 SEMESTER.

Dhaka, Thursday, 12 February, 2009: State University of Bangladesh (SUB) organized orientation & freshers’ reception program for Spring 2009 Semester. The Program took place at 12:00 p.m. at SUB Auditorium, 77 Satmasjid Road, Dhanmondi, Dhaka-1205.

Prof. Dr. Iftekhar Ghani Chowdhury, Vice Chancellor, State University of Bangladesh was the chairperson and Prof. Dr. S. M. A. Faiz, former Vice Chancellor, University of Dhaka & Member, Board of Governors, State University of Bangladesh (SUB) was the chief guest. Dr. Mahbubur Rahman, Vice President, Board of Governors of State University of Bangladesh (SUB) was the special guest on the occasion. 

Prof. Dr. S.M.A. Faiz, talked about his dream of a University that thrives on the collaborative association between faculties and students. Dr. Mahbubur Rahman highlighted the trendsetting attributes of the University and implored the students to co-create the University into becoming a model for country.

Prof. Chowdhury in his concluding speech promised the students of a University that they will proudly remember.

Prof. AYM Ekram-ud-Daulah, Registrar, State University of Bangladesh gave vote of thanks. While a large number of students , Faculty Members & Officials were also present on the occasion.
