In accordance with ACC meeting decision, the State University of Bangladesh (SUB) has continued arranging monthly seminar series with the aim of enhancing inter department knowledge sharing. As a part of that academic exercise, Department of Law has presented a seminar on 1972 Constitution of Bangladesh on 22 November 2009. The seminar was conducted in SUB own campus and participated by a good number of faculty members, officers and students. The keynote paper of the seminar was presented by by Prof. Asif Nazrul, Advisor, Department of Law, SUB. Dr. Asif analyzed various features of the 1972 Constitution and explained the impact of later changes in the constitution on the governance and justice sector. Among others, Prof. S.M.A. Faiz, former Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University and Member BOG, SUB and Professor AYM Ekram-ud-Daulah, the Registrar, Dr. Nawzia Yasmin of Department of Public Health, Kazi Atif Anwar, Acting Head of Department of Business Studies made their comments and observation on the presentation. Md. Mahfuz Ali, Coordinator of the Department of English conducted the discussion.
