On the occasion of the "Independence day 2010", Dept. of Public Health, State University of Bangladesh & Shandhani, DMCH Unit jointly organized a voluntary Blood Donation Program on 25th March, 2010 at university auditorium. Students, faculty members & staff attended and donated blood in the program. Prof. Iftekhar Ghani Chowdhury, Vice Chancellor of SUB inaugurated the program while Dr. Nawzia Yasmin, Acting Head of Department of Public Health delivered welcome speech focusing the advantage of blood donation. Over 50 bags of blood were collected from this program. |
