A PhD degree is a doctorate research degree and generally, the highest level of academic qualification that a scholar may acquire. The degree generally requires three and five years of full-time studies through course work and laboratory based extensive research activities leading to an innovative and novel contribution to the respective field. We would like to express heartfelt congratulations to our bright and assiduous faculty members of the Department of Pharmacy, State University of Bangladesh (SUB), who have been granted study leave to get enrolled in renowned world-class universities during 2019-20 to pursue their PhD/MSc degrees. They are in regular contact with the Department of Pharmacy and have been providing outstanding services on different academic matters and research related issues. Mr. Nurul Islam Setuhas been pursuing his PhD degree at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, United States of America. He is currently on study leave from the Lecturer position of Department of Pharmacy, State University of Bangladesh (SUB). Mr. Muhammed Mahfuzur Rahman is a diligent Assistant Professor at Department of Pharmacy, State University of Bangladesh. Right now he has been pursuing his PhD degree in University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. Mr. Tufael Ahmed is pursuing his PhD degree at Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia. He was holding the position of Lecturer at the Department of Pharmacy, State University of Bangladesh and currently, he is on study leave. Mr. Shahidullah Kayser was serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy, State University of Bangladesh. Presently, he is pursuing his PhD degree at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Miami University, USA. Mr. Ahmed Sabbir, a Lecturer at Department of Pharmacy, State University of Bangladesh is currently on study leave to pursuing his M.Sc. degree from the Department of Clinical and Molecular Medicine, Norwegian University of Science and Technology Trondheim, Norway. Mr. Md. Nahid Hasan was working as a Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy, State University of Bangladesh. Currently, he been granted study leave to pursue his PhD degree in the United States at Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
