Mr. Md. Jamal Hossain is currently working as a Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy, State University of Bangladesh, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Before joining the post, Mr. Hossain has completed his M. Pharm with thesis (session: 2017-2018) from the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and B. Pharm (5 years professional course; session: 2012-2013) from the Department of Pharmacy of the same university. His current research activities mainly focus on various fields of Pharmacology and the drug development process. He has been working on drug-drug interaction (both synergistic and antagonistic effects), drug-biomolecular interactions, and organometallic chemistry since his M. Pharm. thesis program. Besides, he has experience in chemical and biological investigations of natural products isolated from various medicinal plant and animal sources through in vitro, in vivo, and in silico approaches. Moreover, Mr. Hossain is highly fascinated to engage in Public Health and Pharmacy Practice related research. Apart from this, he is deeply interested in organic medicinal synthesis and evaluation of potential biological activities to quest for new therapeutic possibilities.
